What TileCity does:
TileCity is a control panel that adds a tiling menu to the Finder’s menu bar. It tiles, stacks or stripes the Finder’s windows which makes it much easier to find things on your desktop. The control panel allows you to assign any hot key sequence that you desire to any of TileCity’s commands. There is also an auto-tiling feature for some of TileCity’s tiling modes which automatically stacks Finder window’s as they are opened. TileCity only has a handfull of functions so the best way to find out what it does is to try them. Just drag TileCity to your System Folder, reboot the machine, open a few Folders, and then select each command from the Tile menu.
System Requirements:
System 7, 7.1 and 7.5
We have not tested TileCity on 7.5, but others have reported that they have used it on 7.5 without problems.
PowerMac:
This version is not native. A native version will be available soon.
